The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Full-time New Business & Client Service Manager with a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company. Our new business & client service manager will provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the corporation’s clients receive the highest degree of client service with respect to underwriting negotiations, confidentiality, policy implementation and ongoing policy service administration. This position supervises an Underwriting/Policy Holder Service associate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide operational support such as onboarding Producers and orienting them to Sterling practices and procedures.

· Service In force Life Insurance policies for any transactions necessary, usually (but not always) to clients with larger portfolios. Perform year-end service reporting.

· Coordinate case workflows within underwriting or service ensuring accurate and timely service. Plans for and obtains information needed for underwriting and service.

· Communicate with producers to assure proper licensure is in place. In addition, process carrier appointments on a case-by-case basis.

· Ensure maximum productivity within Underwriting and service department through utilization of [please apply online] including creating workflows, custom fields, reports, and reminders. Ensure new system releases are up to date within the platform.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; type; read. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.

· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, phones, photocopiers/scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The ideal candidate must be able to provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the corporation’s clients receive the highest degree of client service. The candidate will possess a high degree of privacy and confidentiality, strategic thinking, results-driven, business acumen, and decision-making skills. The candidate needs a certain degree of maturity to deal with the insurance carriers and the clients’ attorneys.

Education & Experience:

· A bachelor’s degree and five to ten years of related life insurance company experience.

· Proficiency in comprehending and generating life insurance illustrations.

· Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

· Experience in a fast-paced environment with a keen ability to execute.

· Proficient with computers and utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

· Experience working with a database so you can quickly kick off Salesforce CRM.
